'Ambitions without Ethics'


 on Saturday, July 25, 2026, St. Paul's Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Jodhpur, organized an English debate on the topic "Ambitions Without Ethics" in memory of Father V.C. Thomas. The program began with the lighting of a lamp and garlanding Father V.C. Thomas's photograph. Students from 12 schools across Jodhpur participated enthusiastically in this competition. The school organized this competition to develop students' language skills, logical reasoning, and self-confidence. Participants effectively presented their views in English, both for and against the given topic. The students impressed the judges and the entire audience with their strong arguments, clear pronunciation, and impressive presentation. The jury evaluated the participants based on the subject matter, accuracy of language, confidence, presentation, and logical reasoning. The jury comprised Father Henry Morris, Mr. Jasin Chacko, and Mrs. Karishma Jangid. The winning students were awarded by the Principal of the school. First place in the competition was won by Bhagya Shri Rathore, St. Anne's Senior Secondary School, Jodhpur.
 first runner-up Yashvardhan St. Anthony School, second runner-up Krishna Gopal St. Paul Shastri Nagar Jodhpur. Participants received a prize of ₹5,000 for first place, ₹3,000 for first runner-up, and ₹2,000 for second runner-up. Vibhor Sharma St. Paul Shastri Nagar received the consolation prize, and Divesha Dubey DPS Pal received the second consolation prize. In his address, the Principal stated that such competitions play an important role in students' personality development, communication skills, and leadership abilities. At the end of the program, all participants were thanked for their outstanding efforts. Vikram was conducted by Prekshita Singh and Aditri Barala, under the guidance of Sir Clifford Jacquet. School student Daksh Jain expressed his gratitude. The program concluded with the school anthem.
